Join us in Washington D.C. for a three day meet-up of skill sharing and movement building with global health and AIDS activists! New and seasoned activists under the age of 30 are welcome.
These three days together will give participants knowledge of effective activist tactics they can take back to their chapters and communities, ready to escalate in the districts of their elected officials to build power. We will spend two days sharing skills and learning together, and then deploying on Monday to Capitol Hill to meet with the offices of our elected officials.
Young people will have the chance to connect with each other in-person: a rare opportunity that we are building more space for, and is necessary for strong movement building. Relationships with each other are crucial to strong movements. Participants will have access to long-time experienced activists and ample opportunity to learn about creative activist tactics that have worked in the past--inspiration to try new things in the present.
Watch this space for more updates coming soon!
